The term Shopping Symbiosis describes the current trend, in which shops cooperate with other functions and both functions flourish. This open and efficient attitude (symbiosis) was chosen as a first design theme. The second theme was the relation between designer and computer during the design process. This graduation project is a research by design project, therefore the redesign of the central station of Utrecht plays an important role and can be seen as the third theme.
